CMS Awards RCH 5-Stars in 2009 Nursing Home Rating
RCH proudly announces another 5-Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The 5-star overall quality rating is the highest rating that can be awarded to a nursing home.  It is based on the ratings given to a facility for Health Inspections, Quality Measures, and Staffing.  Since only 10% of nursing homes are awarded 5-Stars, this rating
differentials Reformed Church Home from most of its peers.  For additional information,  please see www.medicare.gov.

A portion of the nomination narrative, written by LInda Root, daughter and niece of 2 former residents, follows:

"At Reformed Church Home, our family found quality care at an immaculate facility and from a caring staff.  The environment is safe and, most importantly, happy.  I cannot say enough about the staff who, like my own family, extended care and concern for the well being of my Dad and Uncle.  Reformed Church Home is a special place staffed with special people.  One might add, Angels work there."  The administration and staff are thrilled to have earned this honor.
